BRB Coffee Co. kicked off with a little van, a lot of early mornings, and two locals — Ryan and Kate — figuring it out one coffee at a time. We didn’t start with a big plan or a fancy setup. Just a deep love for great brews, the kind of chats that happen over a takeaway cup, and a desire to create something real in our community. We parked the van wherever people needed their morning fix — outside the school gates, tucked near Kunda Park, or pulled up at the hockey on a Saturday. People started coming back. Then coming back again. The coffee mattered, sure — but so did the feeling. The quick wave, the familiar face, the moment to breathe.

As the van grew a little following, so did the dream. Eventually, we found the perfect little hole-in-the-wall space and decided to build something more permanent. Now BRB has a tiny coffee shop to match the van’s energy — same heart, just a few more plugs and a fridge that doesn’t move. Whether it’s out the van or from our little coffee shop, it’s about more than caffeine. It’s about helping people start their day right, building something consistent and comforting, and being part of the rhythm of this neighbourhood. We’re here for the early birds, the regulars, the locals, and the legends. And if you’re reading this, you’re part of the story too.
